OffLM Network
OffLM Network is built on a simple belief: access to AI is a fundamental human right in the digital age. No one should be required to give up their privacy in order to use intelligent systems. As open-source AI models continue to emerge, individuals now have the ability to run powerful models directly on their own machines, offering complete privacy and control. However, this opportunity remains limited to those with access to expensive, high-performance hardware.
What We Offer
OffLM Network acts as an abstraction layer that allows users to access open-source AI models with complete freedom of execution. Users can choose to run models locally or use decentralized compute platforms without compromising privacy. The network takes care of model discovery, task routing, and payment flows, making the experience seamless and secure.
The Role of $OFFLM
$OFFLM is the native token of the OffLM Network, used both as a utility token and as a governance mechanism. Certain features and services within the network require payments in $OFFLM, particularly when routing tasks through decentralized compute providers. Beyond its utility, the token also grants holders governance rights within the OffLM DAO, giving the community control over protocol-level decisions and the evolution of the network.
OffLM DAO
The OffLM DAO is responsible for managing the abstraction layer that powers the network. It oversees the inclusion or removal of AI models and decentralized compute platforms, ensuring all integrations meet strict privacy standards. The DAO also manages the network treasury and uses it to fund initiatives that align with the mission of the network. In doing so, it preserves both the technical and ethical integrity of the platform.
Network Sustainability
When users choose to run models via decentralized compute systems, OffLM handles the payment to those compute providers directly. Users then reimburse the network at cost plus a 5% network fee. These fees are directed to the DAO treasury, creating a sustainable financial loop that supports long-term growth and operations. This design allows users to access powerful compute resources without compromising their privacy or facing opaque pricing structures.
Ecosystem Expansion
The OffLM DAO has the authority to approve developers and entities to build new products on top of the network. These builders are expected to open-source their products and any derivative work to ensure transparency and interoperability. While they are free to charge one-time fees or offer subscriptions for their tools, 15% of the revenue is directed back to the DAO treasury as a licensing fee. This model allows for innovation and commercialization while reinforcing the shared values of privacy, openness, and sustainability.
